Summer 2010 Social Calendar

 

2nd Annual Beef & Beer Fund Raiser - March 6, 2010  7PM - 12

 

Come on out and enjoy a night of fun, dancing, food and friends.  The Norco Fire company will

be the site of this year's event.  Back by popular demand is the band Half Life.  Price of the

Ticket is 25.00 per person, includes beef sandwich, salads, munchies and all the beer you 

can drink.  This is open to all members and their guests.   The person bringing the most guests

get a special prize.   Please email the social committee for registration and more information. 

                                                   

All American Family Night - June 26th - 4pm

                                      

Come out and join us for an evening of family fun at the pool.  There will be contests and prizes for the kids and the adults.  Test your skills at the horseshoe tournament and gold fish catching contest.  Show off your speed in the family swim relay and measure your girth in the always popular cannonball contest.  Bring your favorite side dish or dessert and bring your appetite for burgers and dogs.  We’re asking everyone to bring something so if your last begins A to M please bring your favorite side and N to Z’ers should bring their favorite dessert.  We'll see you at the pool.  Cost of the event is TBD per family in advance and TBD per family at the gate.  As an incentive to get people to sign up early to help with the head count, all members bringing guests may use the pool starting at 2 PM with out the normal guest fee.   The TBD per family will still apply to guest families.

The Golf Outing – Sunday July 11
                                                                          
Come tee it up at the 12th Annual Laurelwood Golf tournament.  The event is open to all members and guests.  The date is Sunday July 11 and the venue is the fabulous Twin Ponds golf course.  The dinner and will be held back at the pool.  Additional dinners are available for family members.  All family members of guest golfers may use the pool facility all day with out paying a pool guest fee.  This a rain or shine event.  Get your foursome together today and sign up at the pool.  Money needs to be paid with the registration.

Chesapeake Night - August 28th - 7pm to 11pm (Adults Only)

                                                 

It's time for that old classic the Chesapeake night at Laurelwood again.  Rockin' crab legs, succulent shrimp, tasty clams, and many other delicacies will bring you back for seconds at one of the most anticipated events of the year.  Some come on out, bring your appetite, your favorite beverage, and don't forget that lawn chair and we'll see at Chesapeake Night.  Remember to buy your tickets early at the guard office you don't want to miss this one.

Closing Family Picnic - September 11th - 3pm to ?

                                                     
What better way to wrap up the summer than with a fabulous pig roast/beef roast.  Freshly cooked on site the beef and pig is always a crowd pleaser.  Your mouth will be watering as those savory scents waft all the way down to the deep end as everyone anticipates a great meal.  Remember to buy your tickets early at the guard office and we'll see you at the pool.
